At a glance

NoScammer analyzes messages on your device. The message filter extension, pasted-message checker, screenshot text recognition, and Apple Intelligence analysis do not send message content to NoScammer. NoScammer does not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Reports you choose to send

If you tap “Report to NoScammer,” the app shows you the message and analysis that will be submitted. Nothing is submitted until you tap “Send Report.” A report includes the message text, your feedback about the result, the app’s verdict and risk score, matched detection rules, the app version, and—when used—the Apple on-device model identifier. Do not submit passwords, verification codes, financial information, or other details you do not want to share.

Reports are used to operate, secure, and improve NoScammer’s scam detection. They are not used for advertising or tracking and are not linked to a NoScammer account. Our network and email service providers process reports only to deliver this feature and are required to protect the information.

Retention and deletion

Submitted reports are retained in NoScammer’s active reporting mailbox for up to 90 days, then deleted unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, or comply with law. Backups and provider logs may persist for a limited additional period under the providers’ standard retention practices.

You may request deletion of a submitted report by emailing info@noscammer.org with the approximate submission date and enough non-sensitive detail to locate it. You can withdraw consent for future collection by not sending reports; all analysis features remain available.

On-device information

The app stores your onboarding-completion preference on your device. Apple and iOS may process diagnostic or App Store information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. NoScammer does not receive that information unless you separately choose to share it with us.

Children and changes

NoScammer is a general-audience safety tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
