Enable text-message filtering

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps, then Messages.
  3. Tap Unknown & Spam.
  4. Turn on NoScammer.

iOS allows only one third-party message filter to be enabled at a time. NoScammer evaluates eligible messages from unknown senders on your device.

Check other content

Paste text into the app, or use the system Share sheet to send selected text, a URL, or a screenshot to “Check with NoScammer.” Screenshot text recognition and analysis occur on the device.

Important limitation

No automated tool catches every scam. Treat results as guidance, never as a guarantee. When money, credentials, or personal information are involved, verify the request through an official phone number, website, or app you found independently.
